Homemade Pizza

Homemade Pizza

Who doesn’t love pizza? It’s definitely a staple in our house. If we’re not at my kid’s favorite pizza place, we are making it at home. When our kids were much younger we found ourselves ordering pizza at least once a week, until we got so sick of it. That can get expensive!! Especially if you’re eating it once a week.

My favorite kind of pizza involves lots of sauce. Like a Chicago style. I’ve always been a saucy girl as I call it. No, not that kind of sauce. But really, so when I make pizza I make sure there is plenty on it! Maybe that’s why I love making my own. And honestly, it’s a huge money saver if you make your own. Once you learn how to make it, you won’t want to order pizza again. Well unless you get too busy and forget to make the dough, then you’ll be calling for delivery.

Our go to pizza is making it with a traditional crust. When you make a batch of dough you can usually get 3 pizzas. It’s perfect for a family because you can have fun with it and let the kids decorate their own pizza. You can find the youtube video below 👇🏻

In the summer, we love cooking our pizza on the grill using stuff from the garden. Hopefully one day we’ll have an actual pizza oven to make some wood-fired pizzas!!

We also love making sheetpan pizzas. This pizza is great if your feeding an army! Seriously, it’s great for a real pizza party!! You can find the video below 👇🏻. It’s a pizza you can make and have plenty of leftovers for days. One batch of our dough makes this pizza.

It looks like pizza might be on the menu tonight!! You can find the homemade pizza dough and pizza sauce blog post here👉🏻Homemade pizza recipe.

Happy Friday,

❤️April
