How to make your frozen pizza night even better…

&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">Tonight was one of those nights&comma; when a frozen pizza was a must&excl; With thanksgiving days away&comma; and a blizzard coming within hours&comma; my shopping cart was plump with ingredients for way too many dishes&period; Unfortunately&comma; dinner wasn’t one of them&period; Well&comma; I guess I did have ingredients for a salad&period; But I was still pondering the idea of something other than a frozen pizza&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">So there I was&comma; my shopping was done and as I walked outside the snow was already starting to fall&period; And that’s when it hit me&&num;8230&semi;ahh&comma; I should of just grabbed that frozen pizza&period; After realizing&comma; I also forgot a couple more items&comma; I quickly drove to another store to get that dreaded pizza&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">Later that night&comma; after I had a bite of salad and my slice of frozen pizza&comma; I sure was glad I made that second trip to the store&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">So if you’re looking to jazz up a frozen pizza night&&num;8230&semi;&period;Salad might be your ticket&excl; Any kind of salad works really&period; But sometimes&comma; it’s fun to get fancy and try to duplicate something you would find at a restaurant&comma; and why not&excl;&excl; <&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">All I could think about while shopping was how good blue cheese and pears are together&period; Maybe a little too fancy&quest; Naaa&&num;8230&semi;Fancy can taste amazing&excl;&excl;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph"><strong><span style&equals;"text-decoration&colon;underline&semi;">Salad <&sol;span><u>ingredients<&sol;u><span style&equals;"text-decoration&colon;underline&semi;">&colon;<&sol;span><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">•1 package of arugula <&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">•1 ripe pear<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">•Blue cheese crumbles <&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">•Walnuts -&lpar;candied walnut recipe below&rpar;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">You’ll need a big bowl&period; Throw in a little arugula&period; Sliced pears and sprinkle in some blue cheese and when your candied walnuts are ready throw them in&period; Wait to dress your salad til right before you eat&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph"><strong><span style&equals;"text-decoration&colon;underline&semi;">Making your candied walnuts&colon;<&sol;span><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">Ingredients&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">•Sugar<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">•Salt and pepper <&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">•Cayenne pepper<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">•1&sol;2 cups walnuts <&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">Take a small sauté pan and add 1 tablespoon of sugar&period; Dash of salt and pepper&comma; tiny dash of cayenne pepper&period; And 1&sol;8 teaspoon of cinnamon&period; Stir And cook on med heat just until the sugar mixture starts to melt&period; Remove from heat &lpar;it will continue to cook&period; Then add your walnuts 1&sol;2 cup&period; Mix til they are covered&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<figure class&equals;"wp-block-image"><img src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cityfoodiefarm&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2019&sol;11&sol;img&lowbar;0266&period;jpg" alt&equals;"" class&equals;"wp-image-636" &sol;><figcaption>These are lightly coated&period; If they get stuck together just break them apart&period;<&sol;figcaption><&sol;figure>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">Making your balsamic vinaigrette&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Ingredients<&sol;strong>&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">Salt and pepper <&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">3 tablespoons Olive oil<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">1 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar <&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">1 garlic clove minced<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">1&sol;2 teaspoon honey<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">1&sol;2 teaspoon Dijon mustard <&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">Start with a bowl and add your balsamic vinegar&comma; garlic&comma; salt and pepper&period; Then add honey&comma; Dijon mustard and whisk as you slowly add your olive oil&period; Continue to whisk til combined&period; Whisk again before adding to your salad&period;
