Awe that feeling you get when spring has finally sprung.

When the sun is shining, the birds are chirping and the temps are above 50 degrees. Finally, you can submerge yourself in nature again, It’s amazing, all the things you can see when spring has sprung.

The past couple of weeks I’ve spent most of my time cleaning out my gardens. It’s so fun to just watch nature around you. I think all the birds and critters are loving spring just as much as us. I even witnessed some bee activity already.

While cleaning out and edging my bee garden, I kept seeing bunnies hopping and chasing each other. They ran right by me. Bunnies are so cute. Sometimes I wish I could just pick them up, or at least pet them. But I do enjoy seeing them run freely and hop from one yard to the next.

Even if the bunnies eat my stuff, I still love having them around. Something interesting we’ve found is bunnies love clovers. If you let your clovers grow with your grass, your bunnies are less likely to eat your vegetables. I guess it’s our theory. It’s our natural way of keeping bunny control haha.

You can also catch a glimpse of the tulip bulbs you planted last fall. It’s also time to start again. A time to dream and plan what the next 6 months will look like. I know I’m going to be busy!

For me, spring means enjoying nature. Planting some seeds, and cleaning out gardens. Once the temps increase it’s getting our growing area ready for some planting. Among all of that, there is edging and expanding some of my current gardens too. It can seem like a lot, but if you’re doing what you love, it doesn’t seem like work at all.

Spring also means the rebirth of plants. It’s like seeing an old friend again. If you have some perennials in your garden you’ll know what I mean. Gardening is truly what I love.
