These Quick Cinnamon Rolls are so yummy.

This Quick Cinnamon Roll recipe is quick, hence the name…I’m pretty sure what makes them quick is the fast acting yeast that this recipe calls for. This is a great cinnamon roll recipe for those mornings you wake up and crave something sweet. I have to admit, I’ve been a little intimidated at the thought of making Cinnamon rolls for years. Sometimes you just need to go for it, and you might just surprise yourself!!

We normally like to buy the frozen ones. The brand from Door county, but lately we can’t find them anywhere. It was our go to brand to complete our Christmas tradition. Every Christmas we would have them for breakfast. Honestly we’ve tried other brands and they are just not the same.

A couple years ago we discover a cute little restaurant near us that makes some of the best cinnamon rolls. They are huge. One cinnamon roll feeds all of us. But you know how it is, over time you’ll eventually get sick of stuff.

I recently thought with all this extra time I should really try making some. I didn’t plan ahead so I decided to try a 1 hour Cinnamon Roll recipe. At first I was a little overwhelmed. Sometimes it’s hard for me to follow recipes. These days I love cooking without a recipe but I can finally say I understand how these yummy things are made.

Guys, this recipe is a good one…

To be able to wake up and cook some cinnamon rolls in an hour is kinda special. Usually you have to get them ready before bed. That is not my style, I’m not a planner at all so this recipe works! And I have to say this was the first time my children wanted more than one. They didn’t last long in our house. Let me just say, breakfast also turned into dessert after dinner. And everyone has been asking for me to make them again!!

So if you’ve always wanted to make Cinnamon Rolls just do it! Allow yourself the time to learn. With this recipe it’s quick. The first time I made this recipe it took longer than an hour, maybe closer to 2 but it was quick enough for some delicious homemade cinnamon rolls. You won’t be disappointed!! I promise!!

Here is the link to the original recipe I found on Pinterest. Check it out!! https://lifemadesimplebakes.com/1-hour-cinnamon-rolls/

I did make a couple changes while making it so I’ll teach you step by step instructions how I made mine. For the original see the link above.

And add 1 egg. Now turn your mixer on low and combine everything. Your dough will seem really sticky. I added 2 more tablespoons of flour. That seemed to help. You’ll want to continue to knead the dough on medium speed for about 5-7 mins or until it isn’t sticky anymore. If your not using a stand mixer you’ll have to knead it by hand.
